Appointments |

The first step is to make an appointment with Angela to discuss your requirements.  This can be at Angela’s workshop in Mawnan Smith or at your own home if you live locally.  Riverside Flowers wedding albums will be available for you to view, but feel free to bring your own fabric swatches, magazine cuttings etc. along with you.  Brides often like to make more than one visit to confirm things nearer to the wedding date.  Once we have discussed your requirements in detail we’ll send you a breakdown of our costs.  A consultation fee is required for this service, but it is deducted off the final fee if you book your wedding flowers with Riverside Flowers.

The Big Day |

Angela will be available to deliver your flowers personally at a time to suit you.  Additional deliveries can be arranged for the groom and ushers or guests at other venues.  Church flowers are usually arranged the day before the wedding and Hotel Reception flowers such as table arrangements are delivered on the day to fit in with the proprietor.  Large arrangements are prepared onsite.  Marquee flowers have to be delivered or prepared onsite on the day due to the temperature.

Working Together |

Over the years Angie has become well acquainted with other businesses that provide excellent wedding services such as caterers, cake designers and photographers.  Working together is essential and Angela likes to co-ordinate where possible to create perfect results on the day.

Additional Services |

Riverside Flowers has items for hire such as vases, large strands of fairy lights and large mop head topiary trees.

The Day After |

All arrangement stands and hired items are collected from the reception venue on the morning after the wedding.

A Historic Note |

If you are interested in the Victorian language of flowers Angie will be able to advise you on what is available from her garden at the time of your wedding that can be included in your bouquet to send a romantic message to your loved ones.  Alternatively, if you have a flower that holds a special meaning to you both and wish it to be included in your wedding Angie will research it’s meaning for you.

Angela has been designing wedding flowers for over 30 years, starting out in Wales and for the past 17 years in the romantic county of Cornwall.  Riverside Flowers has created wedding flowers in a wide variety of venues from the historic castles of St. Mawes and Falmouth to the simplicity of a reception on Lusty Glaze beach at Newquay.
